Remember last year, an atrocious PETA video (the video is only for those with strong stomachs; personally, I won't rewatch it) showed how Angora was produced in China. To recap, fur was ripped from live rabbits. A very bad scene. But hey, they're just rabbits, right?

So after this huge outcry, Zara decided to stop producing Angora, and that's a good thing. But despite everything, you can't just sell off production you've decided to stop selling, and which some consumers have also decided to boycott.
The wonderful initiative is therefore to distribute these Angora items to Syrian refugees in Lebanon. One might feel a little uncomfortable thinking, "Yes, but it's still Angora, let's think of the little rabbits." Of course, but the sweaters are already made, so why not help people in need for once? I hear the sirens of greenwashing sounding in the distance. But let's mainly congratulate ourselves on the cessation of Angora production, because ultimately, that's what's most important.
But unfortunately, not everyone has stopped producing Angora, have they...
