WWF issues appeal to save tigers

And here in France, who do we have as a personality for this great cause? Yannick Noah! He's truly everywhere... (and I specify I have nothing against him, I went to see him in concert... so...)

I hope we're going to talk about it because sometimes I feel like we French aren't really involved... careful, I'm not saying we should go straight to fighting and saving tigers but we can take a strong and simple action that costs NOTHING (except a minute).

Before that, you should know that the tiger population has decreased by 95% during the 20th century and 3 tiger subspecies have gone extinct. There are 3,200 tigers in the wild and if we continue like this, they will be extinct by 2022. So yes, we don't live with tigers, and it won't change your life... but actually it will because life isn't in a zoo, life is also wild life and they too have a right to a life.

By signing the petition, the more of us there are, the more pressure we can put on the 14 heads of state of the tiger countries who will meet in St. Petersburg from November 21st to 24th (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam) for a Tiger summit.

Well, I just wanted to point out that in the States, the star in charge of this campaign is Leonardo DiCaprio... the True Green and Committed American Star...
