Having participated in festivals in my youth (what, I'm not old, you know), I always told myself that it would be great if, for once, a festival went green, just to have good music in a healthy environment.
It's finally happening with the first festival in France, We love Green, from September 10th to 11th, 2011, from 3 PM to midnight at Parc Bagatelle in Paris.
But what is there at We love Green? Concerts with my favorite summer band Metronomy, Pete Doherty, Selah Sue..., films, meetings...
We just hope that there will be dry toilets (yes, because that's a point not to be neglected at festivals), that the glasses you drink from are not disposable (because that's a lot of pollution), and why not go a step further and have organic and fair-trade drinks!
In any case, Parisian friends, the pass costs €60 for 2 days for some great headliners, it's worth it!!
