For organic lingerie, you know who to talk to (me), but belts? I'm having a real struggle wearing an old belt from my middle school days (a Levis), but I haven't bought a new one since, so you can imagine what state it's in – yes, it's pathetic. But eco-friendly belts, to me, were a bit of a myth; maybe you could find some with vegetable tanning like for shoes, but otherwise, it was a mystery (honestly, I'm launching a concept).
So while looking for the perfect belt for my pants, I found the eco-friendly concept, and get this, it's amazing: a cork belt... yes, that had to be invented. I knew about wooden ties, but belts? As you know, cork is eco-friendly, so your belt is ultra-green, Q.E.D.
The price is around $100, but the advantage is that it's reversible: one side raw, one side painted. The legend doesn't say who actually wears them, if it's just cowboys (or not)!
