A bike that purifies water

Share

Well, you understood, we don't need to pedal because we have water on tap, but in Africa, the water is not potable; it's often contaminated.

Japanese people have created a bicycle that can decontaminate all types of water and, more importantly, make it potable. A purifier that works with the strength of our thighs is quite an idea.

The Cycloclean works from the first minute of pedaling; yes, no need to pedal for hours to get a drop.

However, this bicycle costs $6,000, and for associations or NGOs, that's a significant amount. That's why this bike has been mainly sold to the Japanese government. But the best part is that this bike is on its way to Bangladesh, where it will undoubtedly be very well used.

What would be great is if the production could be almost free, so that only physical effort is ultimately required!
