Rendez vous en Terre inconnue live from the Belgians, please!!

Back from a week in Belgium, I too can't resist telling you about this expedition to an unknown land for Ludivine, Fanfan and myself... And what an expedition it was!!!

From Namur, Liege, passing through Brussels and staying in Profondeville :), we travelled across a good part of Belgium to the sound of the rain of Nostalgie, a slightly more fun version than in France, if you please!

And it turns out that the Belgian Nostalgie version has an eco-friendly section: so I took note of the Belgian tips, once... Don't laugh, the Belgians aren't silly, it'll make you smile but have you thought about it? Little Belgian eco-tip: Pee in the shower to save water (it's no surprise, we all know that flushing the toilet uses a lot)...

AND, after super busy days, we still had time for a Rendezvous in an Unknown Land, and with the Belgians, no less, who had the show broadcast a day before us! And it's just as emotional as in France!! Even more so when it's someone like Gilbert Montagné who opens his heart to us... A beautiful example of humility, courage and joie de vivre despite his handicap that Gilbert offered to us and all visually impaired people... And it's far from the "sunlight of the Tropics" that he found himself immersed in the heart of the Himalayas alongside Dolam and his little family, very religious farmers and breeders... 3 months to build up reserves and face 9 months cut off from the world... Another universe far from our current consumer society... I want to say just one thing, and that is that after such a show, you realize that you have to enjoy the simple things that life offers us every day...

I will conclude with a quote from Gilbert: "They reassured me that what is important is inside and not outside."
