When Greenpeace and Spencer Tunick unite in the fight against global warming, whose effects, by the way, are already very present worldwide, it results in over 700 men, women, and children, bravely in their birthday suits, posing in the middle of the vineyards in Burgundy (in Sabine's country)...
Why vineyards, you might ask? To say no to excessive heat, to increasingly frequent hailstorms... which the vineyards suffer from and will suffer from even more if this continues...
...For those who don't know Spencer, let me introduce him: an American photographer globally renowned for his atypical shots of nude models (one of his specialties) in public places (to shock; and shocking means reactions, which is the whole point!! to raise awareness...). And finally, at the heart of these representations: the relationship between man and the environment.
It was therefore natural for Greenpeace to call upon him, one month before the Copenhagen climate change conference, to create a big buzz.
Verdict: a significant media event to say no to climate change...
A little side note, we too could have joined the event and offered at least Peau-Ethique panties and briefs for the more timid :-)
