In a newsletter, one of you asked me "but why do you insist on your Google review??", instead of answering with a single sentence, I will try to explain why it is important to us.
First of all, we need new customers. Not because we want to grow and become a multinational, but because we need to expand our customer base. We are lucky to have loyal customers, but that's no longer enough.
Having a good "rating" improves our reputation. We have been offering organic cotton lingerie since 2004, we are not a dropshipping company. The more positive reviews we have, the more it could help other people take the plunge!
In 91% of cases, consulted reviews were the primary reason for making a purchase.
And given that everyone wears cotton underwear, I think that if one person discovers it, a snowball effect means the crisis is over! It's a joke, but genuinely, recommendations are what work best. And today, we lack notoriety.
I'm discovering Peau-Ethique products!
To tell the truth, one of the frequently typed queries is "peau-ethique avis" (peau-ethique reviews). I understand it perfectly. If I were to discover the brand, I would want to know if the organic lingerie is truly comfortable, if the customer service is up to par... We're on the internet, but we have a phone number; sometimes human interaction can be missed.
We also improve our SEO referencing
Of course, I don't encourage doing your research via Google, but rather via Ecosia; however, most searches are performed via the American giant. And if we want to reach more people, we need a visible site.

We also have product reviews, I believe we only have two comments from memory. Simply because we don't send you emails asking for your opinion. Right or wrong? Digital pollution is very present. We already minimize our email sends (newsletters, transactional emails...). But having a product review can encourage even more purchases.
In any case, even if you find it a bit exaggerated to ask for a Google review, it's not with a light heart that we ask for it. Faced with fast fashion, we need to exist. But word of mouth is what works best; talk about it to your friends, colleagues, family....
We have always been driven by our values, and if we can change one person's consumption, that's already huge! We are always in the sweet spot between making ourselves known and not attracting over-consumption!
By the way, if you have any ideas, we're all ears!
