Well, you think I'm going to talk about Twilight... unfortunately no! Simply because to this day no actor from this fabulous saga these films has committed to ethical fashion... so I'm going to talk about Harry Potter instead. I had already vaguely mentioned it here... but this casting is truly ethically oriented. Should we see a hidden message in it? I suppose, for my part, that this new generation wants to do things for its planet by trying, with its strong notoriety, to show others that you can be fashionable and organic/ethical...
But to broaden the scope, we now see that the targets are changing, we are trying to target teenagers. Emma Watson is releasing a range essentially for teenagers with People Tree, and that's great. Books too, to "reach" this audience.
However, beyond the marketing concept, I think we must also see a real desire to show young people that ecology is now part of our lives and that you can be "normal" by consuming organic and fair trade...
At Peau-Ethique, we have an adolescent clientele, but they come with their parents. We will have made progress when they come to buy our products themselves...
Otherwise Harry Potter is coming soon (Ok I'm leaving)
