A somewhat personal post where we'll talk about uteruses and not organic cotton, but that's life. Two years after my magnificent diagnosis between two doors, "you have endometriosis," where are we now?
Firstly, I realized that many girls are affected; the statistics say one in 10 women, and I already know 3 (diagnosed, because we're not talking about all those who think they just have painful periods and that's life). I could tell you that I still feel like I have prolapse 5 days a month, but no one really cares...
As for me, being new to this illness, I thought that if they operated on me, it would be over... haha lol... two years later, they removed more from my uterus and near my ovaries. In fact, the solution is chemical menopause... life is fun.
I read here and there that maybe it could come from tampons. When I read that, I (foolishly) blamed my mother (I had to blame someone). And tampons are really crappy, after all. I mean, going back to my mother, she didn't know that if you used them, you risked toxic shock, or you were putting GMOs inside you. In fact, who knows? We, this new connected generation that reads and watches documentaries, but how many still wear tampons? (without switching to organic tampons).
So, of course, I expect you to sigh behind your screen, "oh, come on, she's not going to write a post about periods, we do what we want." Oh, but of course, for example, everyone talks about period panties; personally, I find them disgusting, but I see many girls wearing them, and I tell myself they're probably right, and maybe I'll try them (or not).
