Yes, our carrier (Exapaq), who as usual gives us diaries, also gave us the famous recycled pens this year, yes, the ones made from plastic bottles...
I think it was the gift that pleased me the most, because in an age of disposables, seeing large companies invest in sustainability warms my heart.
So I'm not going to criticize these pens, because the writing is the same, they're just a little thicker, but honestly nothing serious.
Especially the BeGreen range is quite wide.
These pens save 30 tons of plastic, or about 36,000 liters of gasoline, which is enough to drive around the Earth 15 times...
Tip: using refills minimizes plastic production. Don't throw away the barrel and cap, they are the largest plastic parts of the pen.
The plus is that the pens are sold at the same price as the other non-green ones...
But the downside: it's all this greenwashing. Ok, Pilot makes "green" pens, but should they subject us to these ads multiple times a day (at the launch, since then there are almost none) and above all, only make one model? Why not stop the production of other pens to replace them with this one?
Is it just to make themselves feel good, just to ride the trend?
I'll let you make up your own mind: Pilot
In any case, you still need to replace your 100% waste pens with cleaner pens, or refill them... but as usual, you have to act :)
