Well, this concept is very innovative. So, Jumbo Hostel, is a hotel in a plane in Stockholm (Sweden) … are you following me?
I know it's completely crazy... yet so real. I remember the first time I saw a Yann Arthus Bertrand book, there was one of his famous photos of a plane graveyard, and foolishly I wondered why they were left like that, couldn't we do something with them?
I now have my answer, 25 rooms and 85 beds, a kind of youth hostel... pretty cool for the second life of a Boeing 747.
Location: at Arlanda airport, 15 minutes walk from the terminal and there are even shuttles that can take us there
Price: from €36 for a dormitory, without bathroom and toilet, up to €166 for the cockpit suite
The plus: the hotel plane staff are dressed like real flight attendants...
This concept is looking to expand, so if you own a non-functional Boeing or Airbus, contact them!! No joke, the concept really wants to develop... to be continued then!
