Second DIY on the blog (Do It Yourself) with a Valentine's Day theme. Yes, I don't know why, but we're going to have a Valentine's Day DIY month. And because, deep down, you don't have to be in love to wear these earrings!!!
In truth, I am a lover of love. What constant exhaustion this thing is. Even though I don't really like Valentine's Day. But I'm not making my case a generality. And besides, I wanted new earrings but in an upcycled way.
I've really been wanting to upcycle lately because I'm really asking myself a lot of questions about consumption and waste management. But then again, I also want to consume :/ A vast problem, we'll say.
So for heart earrings you need:
- newspaper - glue - cardboard - earring clasps
(Yes, I read Libé...)(I have many qualities and still no ring on my finger)
The method is very simple. You make two hearts out of cardboard (personally, a cookie box because of my sweet tooth, but Bjorg cookies because they're organic). And then you make hearts out of newspaper. Yeah, hearts because it's Valentine's Day (and also because they're easy to make). 6 for each earring. 3 for each side.
Anyway, you glue. And that's it. You don't have a boyfriend. But you're swag. Or not. Or you send them to your friends (telling them they're your valentines because of the support). As you can see, this tutorial is the epitome of difficulty.
(Yes, my hair is also well-styled, which may explain the absence of a ring on my finger)
Well, I think it could be customized much better, but my talent is very, very limited, to be honest, and this is my first tutorial, and those who know me in real life know that I'm very clumsy!
