Yes, you read that right... and no, I'm not cracking up, the back-to-school season isn't stressing me out though. Yes, this week the issue really revolves around water, even if a swimming pool isn't necessarily the best idea for conserving water... but no matter, the idea is good, the concept isn't bad but in my opinion it needs improvement, but before criticizing it (or tearing it to shreds, your choice), let's first get to the explanation...
So I think that New York is actually jealous of Paris Plage, and since it's becoming the ultimate Green city (multiplication of organic brands, veggie restaurants...), it figured Paris-Plage is passé, we're going to do recycling but not just any kind, oh no, rather high-level, you see, like a dumpster... and honestly, hats off to them, because having swimming pools in the middle of New York, you still have to think of that...
But here come the criticisms, which of course only concern me (by the way, in parentheses, I dream of going to NY, trip planned this year, yes indeed) first, count the number of people in the pool... OK, it's true not everyone has a pool, but is it really necessary to swim with so many people? Other questions: where do they get this water from? where is it discharged afterwards, chlorinated, salted? In short, I'm not totally convinced by this concept, perhaps because I don't live in a big city and I have a pool (not natural not good) but the idea is good... so let's say it needs to be explored! If by the simplest chance someone has tested it, I'd love a testimony!
