How an artist manages to recreate rainbows!

But how is this possible? I remember my physics classes where my teacher tried in vain to explain how a rainbow is created and how disappointed I was to learn there was no treasure at either end (cartoon reference: My Little Pony!!).

And then I see a guy managing to recreate rainbows, and in a sustainable way, no less! I want to say it's magic!!!

So, what about this invention from what I'd like to call Gyro Gearloose (excuse my references!). It's a solar machine that uses recycled rainwater. The miracle happened for 15 minutes! Of course, I could explain the principle to you, but what's the point? It would spoil the myth!!
