Big news for 2009!! Peau-Ethique is launching into luxury goods with a brand new line, "Caresse de Soie" (Silk Caress), an ethical, natural, and refined line…

Natural silk, because it comes from a farm where mulberry trees are cultivated according to biodynamic farming principles.

Peace Silk, because unlike traditional methods where silkworms are boiled, the silk used is obtained through a gentle method to preserve the worms, which naturally emerge from their chrysalis after completing their metamorphosis!

An ethical collection, because it comes from a workshop in Tunisia that is in the process of SA8000 certification!!

Fair trade packaging, all pieces in the Caresse de Soie line are presented in delicate fair trade silk pouches made by a cooperative in Laos, allowing villagers to remain in their rural areas and perpetuate ancestral know-how through entirely manual weaving.
