First of all, I want to wish you a happy and prosperous 2011, thank you for being a silent reader… I hope 2011 will be your year, the green year, the year of solidarity…
So on January 4th, I made a small post about the challenges to succeed in 2010…
So point #1: Get a publication in Elle, well, that was utopian so we gave up, but I want to point out that the blog was cited in Elle.fr so we had a semi-victory. #2: have more stores in Paris: achieved, 1 more store within the city walls and others are recommending us more and more, so… #3 and #4: Have 20% more stores for export and in France: failed: because unfortunately some stores closed due to the crisis or slowed down their orders, which meant that growth could not be 20%.#5 Have more lingerie stores: a point I will no longer work on, as I realize that our clients are not lingerie stores, less than 1% of the turnover is not much and above all the stores are not ready (next post on this soon).
#6 Increase turnover: failed, not this year, but for the past few months it has been picking up again, so the girls and I are happy-faces. #7 Have a member of the Harry Potter cast wear our products: this was, of course, a joke, I don't have extensive connections!!!So yes, this year, frankly I didn't like it much, but it's ending and you can see how truly happy I am about that…
My next challenges are: 1. Get Peau-Ethique on TV 2. Manage to see through a top-secret project that I can't talk about yet because I'm afraid someone will steal the idea, but basically see the idea through. 3. Of course, increase turnover (an annual challenge) 4. Visit more clients and offset my travel expenses 5. Find a store that sells our lingerie in Lyon (because we already have the socks) 6. Meet more people in real life 7. Find the perfect classy muse for Peau-Ethique That's already a lot, but I know I can do better!!!
