When will Cannes have a green carpet?

Now that's a good question, isn't it? Because, believe it or not, there's only one Green Carpet in the world, and that's at the Oscars... so yes, we criticize Americans, but still, they're doing something....

I've already talked about it, but Livia Firth is truly the most committed woman (Colin Firth's wife) when it comes to sustainable fashion... on all the green red carpets, she climbs the steps in an ethical dress (well, actually, there are only steps in Cannes, but you get the idea)

So my question is, Mélanie Laurent, you who are committed to ecology (an activist and everything), why don't you do like Livia??? Yes, because pretty speeches are nice, but in action, we always see them in designer luxury dresses.
I wonder why? Easiness, privilege, or just habit...
