The origin of an organic egg!

This video is very old but is currently circulating on Facebook. It shows the origin of an organic egg in supermarkets.

It's actually quite funny, especially when you know how supermarkets treat their partners, or how they view organic products... But far be it from me to be ironic, the video is remarkably well made.

In fact, when I do my grocery shopping at the supermarket, I only buy organic eggs (long before I saw that famous ad!)

But know this: in Europe, 77% of hens raised for their eggs are kept in battery cages. And do you want to know how many that represents in France? 38 million hens (out of 47 million). Battery farming means less than an A4 size for them to live...

I'm not going to be the high priestess of animals; others do it much better than me, but seeing reports on it always revolts me. I don't understand why people continue to buy eggs from battery farms... The mystery remains very great for me... Of course, if you don't want to buy organic, at least buy free-range!

Well, the ad in question is for Migros. Migros is a giant in Switzerland that sells organic food and even has a line of organic lingerie.
