Name: Tryo
Activity: a great band of singers, but not only that much more! A committed band.
New release: "ce que l'on sème" (what we sow), a promising album. After denouncing the harms of globalization, they're tackling global warming in song!
Partner: not just any partner Greenpeace itself!
Recent initiatives: releasing an album under the FSC* label, a carbon footprint assessment of their tour, and an unmissable event: Copenhagen!
A powerful message: we are all concerned!
With the help of Greenpeace and a dozen NGOs (including WWF, Doctors of the World, among others), Tryo organized "l'Ultimatum climatique" (the Climate Ultimatum), a concert "as a" continuation of the NGOs' call to reach one million signatures AND to put pressure on the outcome of Copenhagen! It was in Paris that Zazie, Yannick Noah, Bernard Lavilliers, and Tryo (all defenders of ecological issues) heated up the stage of the Zénith to send a strong message as the Copenhagen summit approached, and to put every citizen back at the heart of the debate and incidentally put pressure on politicians!
While waiting for the follow-up to the Kyoto Protocol with Copenhagen, we're putting Tryo on repeat and adopting the positive attitude "climatittude" (climate attitude)!
In any case, this first climate concert is a great example of energy dedicated to important vital causes!!! And it proves that these causes worry and concern even artists!
Conclusion: we are all concerned....
* FSC is an eco-label that ensures that the production of a wood-based product has followed procedures designed to guarantee sustainable forest management
