Today Focus on: Mélanie Laurent, an actress (starring in "Le Concert") who is not afraid to speak her mind,

Why her, why Indonesia, you might ask!! So, the beautiful blonde, accompanied by a Greenpeace activist, traded her sequins and stilettos for a pair of "combat boots" heading (an unknown land side note; very good show Tuesday evening, rich in emotions!!) to Indonesia to fight against global warming with full knowledge of the facts which is still better !!

Nota Bene, Indonesia is facing a real scourge; poverty, pollution, ... and massive deforestation carried out to install palm oil plantations. For those who don't know, this oil is used in the food industry, cosmetics, and the energy sector by large multinationals (like Unilever, Nestlé... without naming them :) )

We speak of a scourge because this deforestation is responsible for no less than 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions!! Conclusion: Indonesia has become the 3rd largest emitter of greenhouse gases (after the United States and China!!). Did I teach you something??

SO, faced with the abuses of multinationals, Greenpeace campaigns, as Mélanie observed, through alternatives like green terrorism*** or even blackmailing these large groups that use palm oil in their products (and I learned that Dove used uses it!! So yes, their advertising around plus-size women may de-complexify, but in terms of the composition of their products, it's not that! the brand has something to be self-conscious about

I want to tell you one thing, while waiting for Copenhagen, all of you check your creams for their compositions and sort them out while listening to "beds are burning"!!

*** Indeed, Greenpeace implements a kind of "green terrorism", notably by "illegally" digging dams against land desertification!!
