A bit of eco-art

Share

It's been a while, some art gleaned from my web wanderings...

It's beautiful, it's just not very practical to install in your living room (unless you have a very large one)

First one, a 2-meter chandelier aptly named "World Upside Down, World Right Side Up" by Benoît Vieubled made with globes. What a beautiful idea, right? To think that I have a globe at home, I would never have thought of making a chandelier.

The second one, well, actually I lied, you can't install it in your living room, it was installed in an abandoned church (well, now you just need to have a warehouse). Hanging Garden consists of a living tree carried by an inverted, uprooted dead tree that is delicately suspended.

The goal is to involve residents in watering the living tree, reseeding it...
