No, it's not a mistake, but it's some awesome recycling! Remember, I might have a slight passion for planes (actually no, I mostly love the idea of recycling a plane that can no longer fly because it's too old) and among my discoveries, planes are often turned into hotel resorts (here, here and here) and even a house (here), but I never would have thought of a houseboat...
Because yes, a plane can float (well, it probably needs some modifications...) but it's basically a Boeing B-307 that serves as the base for Cosmic Muffin (that's the name of the craft) and, according to an American website, it's the first time in living memory that a plane has been used as the base for a boat (ok, if this info is wrong and someone can prove it, I'm all ears!)
One thing is for sure, recycling is progressing... even if it's a bit slow in France... but hey, I'm keeping an eye out! But let's imagine a flying boat... yeah, because I've never seen recycling with old boats (even though there's plenty of material...)
