When we are 100% focused on Sustainable Development, SD Week is an important event, as this week really serves to inform the general public.
When I see that in our neighborhood we were the only ones sorting our waste and now 60% of us do it, I tell myself that there is still progress... of course I'd like there to be more...
Between us, I find it a shame that we only talk about SD for one week!
In Saint-Chamond, SD Week will be more focused on transport (cycling) and gardens, and there will, of course, be a few conferences.
It's a shame they don't talk about organic and fair trade, but well, they're already organizing events, so... we'll give them a chance and we'll insist that Peau-Ethique participates next year...
We'll see later if the residents of St-Chamond were receptive to this event and especially if they put it into practice!
So even if we only talk about SD during this week, I am convinced that eco-friendly actions and the desire for them to be applied will pay off...
