And yes, the fashion giant is going to do it for the star of vegan shoes...
So I have to tell you, when I saw that Natalie Portman was going to be the new face of the Miss Dior Chérie campaign, I was disappointed, really disappointed, like Natalie (yes, I'm calling her by her first name because we're not going to just name drop) she's ultra-committed to environmental issues and especially to veganism.
And Dior, well, it's the complete opposite... so this association seemed completely crazy to me. But these shoes were created especially for the actress and for the ad.
The big question is, is this a one-shot (meaning just a single time) or will we now see vegan shoes in Dior collections?
Personally, I'm going to be a little skeptical and critical, but as long as there's fur in their collection, making vegan shoes would be like (watch out, I'm pulling out an old expression) the pot calling the kettle black...
