Yes, plastic is everywhere... even in the sea, although it shouldn't be. The consequences of plastic are really very serious for animals that eat it, as they confuse it with food. This leads to the death of some species, and we are also concerned because there is plastic in the fish we eat.
The question is, how does plastic end up in the sea? Carried by the wind, it makes its way into rivers, then oceans.
To combat this scourge, WWF is launching a cleverly designed campaign, because in case we didn't know, 70% of plastic ends up in the sea!
Hence the importance of using reusable or organic cotton bags!
