So yes, we're going to talk about frills... but it's true, I don't know if you've noticed, but there's a redundancy of underwear in almost all the "in" clips of the moment...
We're not going to talk about Peau-Ethique, because let's not dream, organic cotton in clips isn't happening yet, but let's not despair, perhaps Caresse de Soie will have more luck...
The first to kick things off is the unbeatable Madonna. And she directly teamed up with the super stylist of the moment (from the 90s), Jean-Paul Gaultier, who designed the famous cone-bra bodysuit for her Blond Ambition Tour... From that moment on, lingerie took on a rather provocative connotation, it must be said that Madonna doesn't have the image of a saint... In fact, she hasn't calmed down... even today we still see her in skimpy underwear... and yes!!! she's the Madonna...
And we can say that the next generation is secured... across the Atlantic, of course!!
We're going to go crescendo...
First with the Black Eyed Peas and their summer hit (I Got a Feeling) where you see Fergie in an ultra-feminine thong and bra.
Then there's the one trying to compete with Madonna, Rihanna, and her latest video (Te Amo) with Laëtitia Casta, where we see ultra-sexy lingerie...
But the worst, or the next generation, the one for whom brands pay fortunes to appear in her videos, where if you work in marketing, you'd dream of your product being placed in her video, you'd almost kill... and yes, Lady Gaga...
Well, it's a style, you either like it or you don't. Even if I don't like it 100%, if I hear her song, it's stuck in my head for the day :) (and sometimes I wish it wasn't)
So, since she's the queen of provocation, let's talk about her latest music video... where there are two examples. One is a tribute to Madonna, except she added machine guns!! And the other, frankly, is ultra minimalist, I thought to myself, Caresse de Soie would have been so classy... but well, does Lady Gaga care about ethics?
So yes, that's great for lingerie, especially "designer" lingerie, but I'm looking forward to clips or films where we can see ethical products, and while we're at it, Peau-Ethique... because so far I haven't seen anything, or at least not much...
