First fashion post of the year…
Let me just say upfront, I will never talk about Peau-Ethique's direct competitors. So here, there will never be other brands of lingerie or baby/children's underwear... that's quite normal, isn't it?
But since lingerie is a very small part of it, I'm going to have a lot, lot, lot of things to say.
Each time, I'll try to find a product I like and talk about the creator's approach, or focus on a particular product... in short, it's totally subjective, I'll often give my opinion, and for now no brands have bribed me (this isn't necessarily an open invitation)...
Well, everyone knows my special love for bags, so it's only natural that the first chapter opens with bags...
Bag the Habit is an American brand.
Made from 55% recycled plastic, this bag folds into a tiny pouch; in fact, it can and should be used as a bag within a bag. Let me explain: you already have a bag, and you're going shopping, so you pull out this small pouch from your pretty handbag, which contains a bag that's quite fashionable and not too small (27.5 x 22). The big plus is that once you've worn it out completely, you can send it back to them, and it will be recycled!!
The downside: it's a shame that 55% isn't more...
Interesting initiative, a lot of explanations about plastic, but not much about their company...
So, we'd say it's not bad for going shopping, or of course if you're taking a stroll on the beach (so you need to live near the sea or ocean)
But what about the bag for going out, yes, I'm talking about the very girly but organic and fair-trade bag, but attention, importantly, when you see it, you think it's a Marc Jacob or something similar...
The American brand Canopy Verde, made of organic cotton and bamboo (even though I hate bamboo) offers bags you won't be ashamed to carry
Each model is available in 4 colors: chocolate, white, black, and pink... Here, I've only done white and brown because the bags shown in those colors are, for me, not very attractive...
According to magazines, white is still the in color!! I've never dared, I'm already so careless by nature, that white wouldn't stay white for long :)
Chic and sober, yet feminine, I approve, it's pretty good...
Next time, I'll talk about designer bags in France and ethical ones.
