Remember last year I was incredibly sad because I hadn't been selected for Miss Bio 2011. Like, they didn't want me. It was fine, I swallowed my pride and moved on.
But a few months ago, I received an email from one of the organizers telling me that my application had been incredibly close the previous year and that he had kept my application on file.
After the little scream behind my screen thinking "Woohoo I'm selected for MissBio" an impromptu dance (like a rain dance) (I dance badly), I realize!
And your humble servant is thus selected with 6 other serious contenders (heavyweights this year) to compete for the title of Miss Bio. I'll tell you right now, no swimsuit parade, here your popularity is measured. And I'm fighting for Peau-Ethique to be known, and if I win, the money won't come to me but will go to Surfrider Foundation (you know I often talk about them, those who do great communication ops to stop us polluting the oceans, seas, rivers...).
So this is where we see if we have a community. Usually, I don't use the blog for myself, one because I think you don't care about my life, and two, I don't see the point.
But here I have no choice. If I want Surfrider Foundation to win, I have to win too, so you have to vote for me, you have to tell your friends to vote for me, your family. I've mobilized my mother who will mobilize her friends...
So vote here: http://www.lamissbio.com/(so you vote for me, Ludivine!!)
So the goal is to talk about it to as many people as possible! So I'm counting on you because deep down I dream of wearing the crown! And you can vote until June 17th (that's one day after my birthday! if that's not a sign!)
