This is an appeal launched by Paul McCartney a few months ago (yes, I know I'm a bit late) to reduce CO2 emissions. If you're a vegetarian, then you're golden; thanks to you, there's a 20 to 30% reduction in emissions...
Frankly, I don't have a problem with it; meat isn't my passion...
In short, I often tell myself that even if I really try to get involved to minimize my emissions, I feel like I'm "tilting at windmills"... but if Paul McCartney says that in the end, it's a good deed... no joke aside, we know, we've been told for a long time now that livestock farming emits a lot of carbon, and that it has become intensive and that animals are not treated as they should be, but is that why we stop eating meat or become vegetarian?? No, on the contrary, production is intensifying... so we can act and maybe if there are enough of us, others will follow and there will be a snowball effect... and I would even say that maybe it will affect politicians and they will become aware of the issue... yes, I'm dreaming, I know, but dreaming doesn't hurt!!
So, like Chris Martin (Coldplay singer, very committed), Paul & Stella McCartney and especially Katharine Hamnett (high priestess of ethical fashion), make Monday a meat-free day! (name dropping, you got us)
