Madame Figaro and Caresse de Soie

… or the story of a missed opportunity

And yes, this week Madame Figaro was doing a special green issue, and to our supreme honor, we were selected for THE photoshoot with The Model (who I'd never heard of)

Anyway, after the excitement, we sent three Caresse de Soie products in ecru (briefs, shorties and bra). Three chosen products, we were sure to see at least one…
The journalist calls us (or rather calls Séverine) even panicking because we didn't send express (implying we didn't use UPS, Chronopost…) and that for the photoshoot it's essential… and it's super urgent!

Great joy within us, to be featured in Figaro Madame is impressive!!

Return of the products, disaster… they arrive covered in foundation, powder, and glitter… yes, you do put on makeup there too, but even if it costs us (we can no longer send these products for other photoshoots) we are very happy because we know that Caresse de Soie will be in it…

But, because this story has a bad ending, on Friday I'm extremely disappointed that we're not mentioned in the Argus. Well, it's okay, maybe the Argus missed it, so on Saturday I rush to buy it and there… (no more ammunition) NOTHING… ZILCH, I leaf through, I turn the pages like crazy, almost get run over (well, I was already in front of the hospital) but nothing…
You can't imagine my disappointment because two competing brands are mentioned… and nothing for us…
Well, I read it one last time, just in case… and this is what I find

Yes, it's our briefs, but nobody knows it

So yes, I'm angry, do journalists have all the rights? Can you make or break someone? You take a product, use it for the whole photoshoot, make it disgusting, and then you say nothing, no thank you, or finally your photos weren't chosen

It's all very well to make "green" issues, but you have to go all the way!! Because ultimately, that's what ecology is about, respect for the planet and for humans! Well, no one died, but still!

The only advantage, Helena Christensen wears Caresse de Soie briefs on the cover :)

I'm in annoyed and disillusioned mode!!
