For over a year, we've been working on developing our new organic tights, and it hasn't been an easy task.
A look back at the story of tights that were very complicated to manufacture

It all starts when we see that we no longer have tights in stock, and the ones we have left are too big, making them almost unsellable. We don't panic; we know how to make socks, so for us, it's logical: if we can make socks, we can make tights. Wrong! They don't use the same machines at all.
Facing the first challenge. We need to find manufacturers who make tights, but in cotton. Because that's where the big problem comes in. We want organic cotton tights. But no one makes them anymore. If we want organic cotton tights, it has to contain polyamide. Out of the question as is. Okay to add polyamide, but it has to be recycled. We're adding another difficulty! And not a small one.
So we set out to find the manufacturer who would be able to make our wonderful responsible tights. And for the first time, we thought, "let's launch it in France." It would have been our first "made in France" product.
Unfortunately, this time it's a failure. Not because it was too expensive (though a little), but because to implement this product, the workshops asked us for a huge sum for the prototype. Simply because, to date, no workshop makes this kind of product. First disappointment.
You might be thinking, "but why didn't they do it?" It was too big an investment from the start with limited cash flow. Take out a loan? Or submit an application for an innovative product? At this time, it's not yet feasible.

Off to Italy!
Second disappointment, it's not possible in France (for now), so we turn to Europe. And behold, in Italy, they know how to do it! Organic cotton, recycled polyamide. We are truly getting the product we wanted to make from the start. That is, the creation of an ultra-resistant pair of women's tights.
Initially, we wanted to make two colors, but due to the economic crisis, we will only be offering black this year.
Currently, in France, no brand offers organic cotton and recycled polyamide tights. Peau-Ethique is therefore the only French brand to manufacture organic cotton tights with recycled polyamide!
We've really tried to offer you a quality product, in our image and always accessible in terms of price. We hope you'll like it!
