Summer means mosquitoes, but organic solutions exist :)

Oh yes... in fact, I'm mainly going to talk to you about after the bite, but hey!!

First, there's a completely natural and organic solution you know, but I'll remind you just in case: it's using citronella essential oil!!
I diffuse it (10 drops) if I spot a mosquito buzzing in the distance that's going to give me a hell of a night!! Otherwise, when you're invited out and you're outdoors (but it has to be in the evening, during the day essential oils are not recommended with sun exposure), I put two pure drops in the hollows of my knees and elbows... Granted, you won't smell great, but it works. Otherwise, you can try The Green Geekette's potion.

If unfortunately, after all that, you still got bitten (and yes, all your precautions didn't work), I have the solution, and a natural one at that... Me, usually, shame on me, when I got bitten I would put on cream (with cortisone) and oh that's not good at all, but I didn't have a solution, it was itching... until the day I discovered L’Essentiel de Lavande and its Soothing Roll-on... and honestly, it works!!!
Very simple: you apply the roll-on to your little bite, it relieves you, and you smell good too... I'm telling you, I've adopted it :)

But who is L’Essentiel de Lavande? It's a brand from my region (Rhône Alpes, strong) in Drôme provençale, but they don't do organic farming... yes, I know, that immediately put me off, I thought it was another brand trying to capitalize on the natural/vs/organic ambiguity and confuse consumers... but in fact, no.
