This winter, I had the chance to spend a few days in a palace on the French Riviera. A stone's throw from Monaco, it was really great. You can even see the Vista Palace in the film Les Tuches (a very intellectual film, it's true).
Up until now, I know nobody cares (#nobodycares = we don't care!) but you won't believe what a huge surprise it was when organic jam was offered at breakfast. I was glued to the buffet, like, in a 5-star hotel you get organic at breakfast!!
The chosen brand is one you can find in organic stores, Les Coteaux Nantais. I scrutinized the plates of my breakfast companions and they were taking organic jam, without seeing that it was organic jam, it was normal.
I couldn't get over it, of course it's a tiny step, but I want to tell you it's a start. You can always want more, but I told myself that the luxury industry, with people who don't necessarily consume organic at home (not to say not at all) are there, forced to consume organic, because for jam there was no other choice!
There are green hotels emerging, the hotel Gavarni in Paris has the Eco Label, that's certainly better!
That was the view from my room!!
