Eco-friendly shoes?

You see, with organic socks I know a lot, rather a lot, but with eco-friendly shoes I'm struggling a bit. Admittedly, to tell the truth, there isn't too much choice. It's either organic cotton sneakers or a few rare brands that practice vegetable tanning. And when you saw the report on Envoyé Spécial about leather, you yourself know that manufacturing is really quite disgusting...

One brand stands out from the crowd, you either like it or you don't, it's El Naturalista. It's true, I won't lie, it's quite a peculiar style, especially their soles, but you see, it's mainly their famous soles that differentiate them from ordinary shoe brands.

The leather is almost chrome-free, because chrome, well, that's the problem with leather shoes.
