... and its latest victim is Rust and Bone by Jacques Audiard.
Well, I'm not going to review the film, because first of all I'm terrible at film reviews, and secondly, this film has reviews everywhere. I went, I liked it. Well, it's not my favorite Audiard film, but it's still a good film.
If we're talking about it here today, it's because during the filming the crew adopted an eco-friendly attitude.
Reduction of carbon footprint: Carpooling was implemented for technical teams, the choice to travel by train for long journeys, and for short journeys bikes and scooters.
Food: use of eco-designed cups, selection of products limiting over-packaging as much as possible, such as water fountains, and cooking fresh, local, and seasonal food.
Energy: Solar power is in the spotlight, with solar keychains available for charging small electronic equipment and the installation of a solar station at the production table for larger devices.
For Marion Cotillard, only organic cosmetics were used, and additionally, in the film, when there is a zoom on food, it is food from organic farming. Well, we would have dreamed if she had worn organic lingerie (especially Peau-Ethique), but let's hope that this inspires other filmmakers to embark on this responsible way of making movies!
