And frankly it's totally awesome...
And yes, because the holidays are coming, and it's a bit sunny, I don't really know why, but I have an immense thirst for discovery... the heat no doubt First, real art, but with a durable material, sand... and that's Sand Art (= basically art with sand) and Jim Denevan is truly the king!!
In fact, Jim is first and foremost a surfer, perhaps that's why he has such a passion for sand (pure fabrication on my part) and what's more, everything is drawn with a piece of driftwood found on site
This is what I love about art: first, it's accessible to everyone (you don't necessarily have to go to a museum) and second, it's eco-friendly... the downside is that it's ephemeral! I could have made a separate post for the next initiative, there's so much to show... but we'll save it for later! So here's how to use your old, used light bulbs, transforming them into works of art that, between you and me, are fantastic!
And to finish, my absolute favorite, Jan Vormann with his project Dispatchwork which repairs Berlin (but not only, you can find him in Barcelona, New York and even Nabeul in Tunisia) with Legos... yes, Legos, of course it's been done before (even overdone) but I looove sushi the concept
++ Jim Denevan ++ Dispatchwork
