And yes, I'm a pro at keeping an eye on things, let it be known, I rummage everywhere for everything new in the world of eco-fashion. In fact, next week I have a more clothing-focused theme (teaser)
Anyway, it's true, when it comes to jewelry, I don't know why, but designers really let loose. Is it precisely because it's just an accessory and you can allow for a bit more fun than in a "traditional" outfit?!
The current trend is recycling, but really with unusual objects to make something ultra trendy (by thing I mean jewelry)
#1 Bullet proof
… okay, the title is a bit much, but it's really about bullets (from rifles). Adi Zaffran dug up old bullets and made real jewelry out of them... a crazy idea in the end, because I would never have thought of firearms for making jewelry. It just goes to show you, a bullet can be beautiful (if it's well-crafted)... between us, I find this world very futuristic (like Star Wars jewelry)

#2 Recycled
Beer caps become necklaces (a French brand, whose name I've forgotten, also makes them)
And frankly, it's "wearable," and you can do it yourself! Yes, you just need to find beer caps (and have a minimum of creative spirit, so for me it's a no-go)
Or even (and this is my favorite) with old plumbing parts (yes, faucets for example) designed as truly real jewelry, or rather as if the raw material were a noble material, even though we know it's not!

#3 From tires
Yes, but not Michelin tires…
My Sister Art creation
And yes… an old inner tube can become an ultra-trendy piece of jewelry that you dream of wearing, and it doesn't look rootsy at all, but rather high-end jewelry with added value!
So yes, ethical fashion is progressing rapidly, and frankly, even if it's sometimes very designer, for me it remains in the realm of "wearable"...
I have the impression there's a return to basics; recycling is increasingly present in jewelry, which until now was more geared towards disposability!
However, these designers are foreign; in France, for now, we're not taking too many risks (but prove me wrong)
And if you know a giant, I found their earring!
