Yes, what a title, right?
At the same time, what can I say, since I'm going to talk about my personal feelings and not necessarily those of the whole team, and since I'm the one writing...
So, for the past 2/3 months, the crisis has really been felt. It's true, naively, I thought that we (organic) wouldn't be affected, that this crisis would pass us by, and that it was just a bad patch that would quickly resolve itself. That we would realize that we needed to consume less but better... but unemployment, layoffs, and offshoring mean that the crisis is here and unfortunately it's lasting...
And then, this is the hardest part, we see friendly companies closing... and I wonder when it will be our turn...
It's true that, in addition to the weather not really making you want to splurge, the economic situation means that... life isn't easy...
And then, the lack of orders is being felt. Customers are scared; they order little by little... which means that even if we call, even if we follow up, we always get the same answer: I'll think about it, because you understand, with the current situation...
Of course I understand. Here in France, C.A.BIO employs 4 people. Of course, it's not a big company, but it's still 4 people who are invested, plus all the artisans who work for us and who (I believe) have a better life thanks to us :)
So yes, I'm not really in good spirits, this crisis really makes me doubt, fortunately our customers continue to trust us and still order.
But there's still a big problem: if, because of a bank (which, between us, no one knew), there's a global crisis and no recovery, that really scares me!!
Well, I'm pessimistic too, and that doesn't help!! But despite everything, because of a financial crisis, some people see their lives change, but in my opinion, the ecological crisis that's looming will also do more harm than the financial one.
Finally, we remember Lorie's beautiful song "la positive attitude"... and we move forward.
Otherwise, how do you feel the crisis, how do you see it?
