Because, you see, no matter how regularly I washed my hair, it would get greasy again at lightning speed. I tried several techniques. Like coating my hair with jojoba oil, but nothing worked. And that's not very Glam!
So I told myself I had to switch to organic. I tried one brand, forget the results, it looked like I had a pot of oil on my head.
Especially since traditional shampoo is pretty disgusting (I'll elaborate because I've been told I don't elaborate enough). It contains Silicone (PEG, Amodimethicone, Dimethicone....). Silicone is bad for hair, it's what makes it greasy or dry, so you understand, you should avoid it if you want beautiful hair.
If from today you decide to stop using silicone (and you're right to) and switch to organic, it will take a month for the silicone to leave your hair.
For shampoo, I chose Cattier. I should point out that I had no idea about their shampoo range. I discovered them during a sale (on vente privée)(oh, that's bad)(but it was to try).
In terms of ingredients, the only negative point is the use of Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, even though it is Ecocert-approved, it remains an irritant. For the two shampoos for oily hair, the organic content is not the same. For the green clay one, it's very low at 10% and for the other, it's 28%. But Woohoo, no silicone :)
And the result in all this? In fact, since my hair no longer uses silicone, it's not greasy and it's shinier. On the other hand, as soon as I use a mask or conditioner with silicone, my hair gets greasy during the day, without fail.
What about you, organic shampoos?
