Remember, we talked about him a loooong time ago in 2010. 4 years. Wow. I wasn't even 30 yet. I feel so old all of a sudden :(
Anyway, that's not the point, I loved Jason Mecier's way of working. True upcycling, you know. Yes, I'm obsessed, I know. The guy manages to collect celebrity trash and turn it into paintings. But not just any paintings, like, oh well, we don't know who it is. No, paintings that already cost a fortune, almost the price of my future apartment, I think (TO SAY WHAT!). But above all, what's funny about this concept is seeing how celebrities consume, or rather over-consume. I think we could just as easily do the same with our trash because I'm not going to lie to you, I haven't achieved zero waste yet. I don't think I ever will. Not in France. Not in France, where bulk is still underdeveloped (sorry, but I only have one organic store with an ultra-limited selection)... And where we are still a country that develops plastic to the full, as well as canned goods... That's it...
Enough talking, let's look at the pictures. Let's play. Who's who??
