Time for a change of scenery, time to travel... let's head to Spain!
This is a six-story vertical garden. Usually, it's the roofs that are entirely covered in vegetation, but I had never seen a wall that, instead of being concrete, is completely replaced with greenery, moss, ivy, small flowers...
And get this, a metal structure built on top of the concrete deposit is used for irrigation... whether it's rainwater (I'm not entirely sure, though)
Some complain that there's a lack of greenery in the city, but if all walls could be replaced by gardens, I'm sure we'd breathe a lot better!
What's more, these Spaniards are clever because several types of plants are in this hanging garden...granted, it's not a zen garden, but it's much more colorful! I think I'll propose this to my municipality :)
