Iceland: A passive house

This section really demands a lot from me, because although I am interested in architecture (probably because of my dad), I confess I don't know much about it in technical terms! So frankly, I don't know what to do, because even if they are very rarely commented on (who knows why), it's generally this type of post that gets the most reads!! Should we see this as a sign of a career change? No, frankly, I'm sure I wouldn't be effective at it!!

In the heart of Iceland, a house was created from salvaged materials. The most ultra-green aspect is that the grass on the roof comes from the house's foundations!

A passive house necessarily means self-sufficient, therefore photovoltaic panels, geothermal energy, water harvesting, south-facing windows to capture as much light as possible, and hydroelectric energy.
