.... pfffff what a question, right?
Well, if you think I'm going to give you the answer, move along, because unfortunately I have no idea... Séverine is trying to find the solution and I'm crossing my fingers that it works... but it's not easy!!
All this leads me to talk about Twilight. Okay, it's not necessarily the reference you blog readers expect, but all this buzz around the movie leaves me speechless...
Well, unless you've been living in a cave these past few months, you're aware of the global Twilight phenomenon... by the way, number 2 (New Moon) is coming out in theaters on November 18... I might as well tell you I'm addicted, a fan, so this post will be totally subjective!!
So there's a ton of merchandise related to the movie: keychains, mugs, cards, bags, calendars, and even panties... yes, frankly, couldn't we have partnered with them? I would have said yes even for free!! Just to see Bella in our underwear, especially with the little black shorts that I'm sure would have suited her perfectly... my dream, as you can imagine, is to see Edward in Peau-Ethique... but well, in the book there's no reference where we see him in boxers...
Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked, so back to the point, why didn't they choose us????
Well, probably because they (by which I mean the high-ranking people in the production) don't know we exist...
And that's how a dream crumbles...
But product placement exists, proof with Volvo and its game What Drives Edward:
Or how to win a Volvo, the same one from the movie and the book...
That's a partnership, does it pay off? I don't know, honestly, even if I'm addicted to Twilight (that's my romantic side), I'm not going to rush out and buy that car or all the goodies around the movie, so my question is, does our brand image change when we associate with such events or personalities?
Good question, which remains unanswered for now. Especially when you know that initially, the big studios didn't bet on the film, just as the big publishing houses hadn't believed in the book... which goes to show that in life, you shouldn't despair... so we still have hope of soon seeing Peau-Ethique associated with big events or worn by famous people...
Come on, because I love to self-humiliate, I'll show you my wallpaper:
And what do you do for a living? Oh nothing, I'm a Sales Manager at C.A. BIO...
