There's no miracle cure, socks do get holes. With use, you're very likely to get holes in your socks. They can get holes in the heel or toes, depending on how we walk! To avoid holes in the toes, cut your nails! It sounds silly, but there will be less friction, so no tears, pulled threads... Choose the right size cotton socks! Indeed, if they're too small, they'll tend to stretch and tear. Take care of them during washing. No tumble drying, and prefer a gentler wash rather than too harsh (30 degrees ideally).
