Peruvian hat

New products are expected in March...
Hand-knitted by a small group of artisans in Peru, these very pretty bonnets are made from 100% organic Pima cotton and wild organic cotton...
But what exactly is Pima cotton? Pima cotton is a "high-end" cotton, meaning it has very beautiful long fibers that make very, very soft items, and it is renowned for being the "silk of Latin America."
Wild cotton or jungle cotton is cotton that grows naturally in the forest and is already colored.
This product is therefore undyed.
BOnnetPeau_EthiqueIn terms of fair trade, we work in partnership with a workshop that employs almost an entire village. As you can see, men and women work together. We chose this association because it is very deeply rooted locally. Indeed, it has provided work for the very poor population who prefer to leave the countryside for the cities where they think they can find a job, but unfortunately many find themselves with nothing and in extreme poverty.
In addition, all items are hand-knitted to perpetuate local know-how.
For us, this is a real test and we hope you will like this product... we hope to continue with this association and launch new products (but shhh...)
