This year, we decided to prospect in Belgium in addition to the Valériane fair, which is why FanFan, Séverine and I went for a week... well, a week is still a long time, but it's even just enough for everything we had to do...
Today I'm going to tell you about our afternoon in Liège, which, to be honest, could have been much worse...
So, with appointments made at the shops, all we had to do was find these famous boutiques, except that Jacqueline (my GPS) played numerous tricks on us, like telling us to turn left when we needed to turn in 100 meters... But the worst part was parking, that's something else... how to put it simply, it's a nightmare, because Liège, believe it or not, is a big city and when you go downtown... it's super hard to find a spot, I think we drove around for a good half hour... and I thought I was going to crack, but finally, a street away from a shop (which I'll tell you about soon) I found a spot, but I had to "park" it in reverse... and I don't even do that with my Twingo, imagine with a big car... oh yes, it wasn't easy, but we made it...
So unfortunately, due to the frustration, we didn't visit Liège, what a shame... but no doubt it's only postponed!
But here's a little photo taken randomly on a street,
It reminded me a lot of Limerick in Ireland, with its red brick houses...
But the weather was good... and for Belgium in September, that's exceptional good!
