What a title, right? Okay, inspiration didn't really strike... but still!!! So last weekend, in full lazy mode, I stumbled upon a rerun of The September Issue on Canal Plus... What, you don't know what The September Issue is? That immediately tells me one, you're not a fashionista, two, you're not American, and I'd even say three, you're not a fan of Vogue and Anna Wintour!
So, quick summary: The celebrated editor-in-chief of the American edition of Vogue magazine, Anna Wintour is one of the most powerful and fascinating icons in the fashion world. Until now, she had never allowed anyone to delve into the inner workings of her magazine's creation. She made an exception for R.J. Cutler, who followed the making of Vogue's September issue...What did I think of it? Well, I really liked it... even though I'm not a fashionista in the slightest, not at all, but frankly Anna is someone you love to hate... and the September issue is THE fashion issue (I don't know anything about it but they kept repeating it, so). I know, it's old, from last year. If you have Canal, you might still catch a rerun; worst case, you can rent it on DVD...
All this to say, what about "Green" in all of this? Well, Anna (yes, I call her by her first name) did create a "Green Issue," but it was in June 2009 (yes, I know, that was a while ago). At the same time, with fur in every issue, eco-friendly fashion isn't exactly her priority... yet, frankly, Peau-Ethique, with its new sixties-inspired collection, has everything it takes to be featured in that famous magazine. Alright, challenge accepted! A publication in Vogue – we're not picky, Anna's or Carine's (France) – but we'd take the others too... If by chance a loyal reader knows someone who knows someone who knows someone, we'll take that too :)
