Last year, at my small level, I participated in it, I even asked my city (whose first deputy is in charge of sustainable development) if it was participating. Following this short email (some people know my frankness), I was even received by the said deputy... This was followed by a meeting rich in explanations and actions implemented by the city (I will talk about it again soon).
In short, WWF is relaunching its appeal, even if you are not a convinced ecologist, 60 minutes without light is not going to kill you!!
So we're recycling last year's post, no I'm kidding :), but it would also be ideal if every city stopped lighting up monuments that serve no purpose, or shops that leave their signs lit when they are closed... in short, 60 minutes to show that we are fighting against global warming (no offense to Claude Allègre!)
So on March 27th at 8:30 p.m. we turn off our lights!!
++ Earth Hour
