5 bottles = one umbrella

And this umbrella was commissioned by a large group that produces a drink that is, shall we say, good for some but ultimately very bad. Yes, you guessed it, it's Coca-Cola.

So this Atlanta-based group commissioned Wayne Hemingway to create an umbrella made from PET bottles, because now Cola bottles are made of PET. But be careful not to get carried away, these bottles are only available in England. The composition is 25% recycled plastic and 22.5% natural plants. So we can say that bottles now have two lives, and it must be said, the recycling concept is not bad at all. Who would have thought of making an umbrella from 5 bottles?

The price is not excessive, £10 for a recycled object, which is about the price of a mid-range umbrella.

Coca-Cola's message is that thanks to this bottle, they will reduce their carbon footprint by 40%. You just have to remember to recycle it properly (which we do anyway).

However, we are faced with two opinions: the first is, "Wow, that's great, making an umbrella out of soda bottles, what a good idea!" The second is, "Isn't this a bit of greenwashing, and by making this useful object (on rainy days) we almost forget the basic contents of the cola bottle?"

And to conclude, as Rihanna would say (yes, I know everyone has their own references): "You can stand under my umbrella (ella ella...)"
